At Marco Forster Middle School, our committed and caring staff works together to maintain high standards of academic achievement and support for all students. Standards-based instruction ensures students equal access to the curriculum evidenced by test scores which are consistently above the state average. Rigorous, student-centered, hands-on instruction enhanced by technology is evident in every department in our school.
Marco Forster is an educational institution that sees its responsibility as reaching far beyond the classroom door and into our Global Community. Each year our students participate in numerous community service activities including Santa’s Visit which provides Christmas gifts to over 500 children in the local community, recycling on a regular basis, food drives for families in Orange County, and fund raising for various causes such as the victims of Katrina, Muscular Dystrophy and Pennies for Peace.
Our Golden Bell award winning after school program provides students with enrichment and support opportunities. In partnership with the City of San Juan Capistrano, the “Club at the Hub” offers a wide range of after school classes including indoor basketball, cooking, flag football and homework club.
Marco Forster prides itself on its high level of parental involvement. Our very supportive PTSA works hand in hand with the school to provide funds and programs, such as the Reflections Program and Parent Education Nights, which further enrich the school experience for our students and their families.
Marco Forster Middle celebrates its 40th year of excellence in education this year! Our diverse school population celebrates both cultural and individual diversity while being united in our quest to become both excellent scholars and excellent citizens.
